Develop solid biblical friendships
Spend time in the Word (discussion and application of the teaching from the Sunday morning services)
Prayer (to minister to one another at the end of the evening, or spontaneously as the need arises)
Our groups meet weekly for approximately two hours.
They are simple, effective and easy to duplicate.
There are many names to describe this type of Gospel Community
ministry (cell groups, house church, life group, etc), but they are
essentially where people are able to grow in their faith in a small
group setting. Gospel Communities are also a place where
people are able to develop friendships with brothers and sisters in the
Lord, pray and be prayed for, encourage each other and be encouraged.
Here at Calvary Chapel Spring Valley, we call these groups Gospel
Communities.
Life can be extremely difficult and draining. We were never
meant to "do life" alone, we were designed to walk with each other,
grow with one another and to glorify God together. Everyone
needs the support and encouragement of other people. Everyone
needs community!
We encourage everyone who considers Calvary Chapel Spring Valley their
home church to regularly attend a Gospel Community.
Blessings,
Pastor Mike
